Another One?

Haha, don't be suprised. I'm creating this new blog just for Kitchen's Fellowship so my other blog will be my personal stuffs. Haha. Well, it won't be that personal as all of you could read my blog. Haha. Anyway, this blog is committed to sharing new recipes..yummy..and also to write about the things we learnt over Kitchen's Fellowship. Hope you will enjoy both the physical and also spiritual food.

A Kitchen Blessing

"We always end up in the kitchen" -
It's a thing you hear everyone say.
No matter what time or occasion,
So often it happens that way.

The kitchen's heart of the household;
It's the place where we gather to share
A home-cooked meal or some cookies,
The housework, our thoughts, or a prayer.

A kitchen deserves its own blessing -
A simple but sincere one will do:
Bless the food, the room, and the people;
Bless the cook and the cook's helper, too.

Half-Hearted Creatures

We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered to us, like an ignortant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased.
